Justin Timberlake Loving The Single Life?
Justin Timberlake may have kicked Cameron to the curb but he arrived in style last night in Los Angeles for the premiere of his new film, Alpha Dog. The film also stars Bruce Willis and Ben Foster (Angel in the X-Men movies). It’s also set for a nationwide release next Friday, Jan. 12.

Kate Hudson And Owen Wilson Fizzled Out
Kate Hudson's rumored relationship with Owen Wilson is supposedly over. The steamy fun affair, which was part of the reason for the split of her marriage, has fizzled out. We actually like the thought of them together but I guess it was just a fling. Owen is back to his bachelor ways and Kate is already finding new musicians to date. US Weekly reports:
"They have definitely cooled off," a source close to the actress tells Us of Hudson and Wilson’s summer fling. "She adores him and wishes it had worked out. But it didn’t." A Wilson source seconds, "Owen is calling girlfriends to tell them he is single."
The actress, meanwhile, is back to dating musicians. She brought Irish singer Damien Rice (whose haunting song "The Blower's Daughter" was the theme of 2004's Closer) to a December 9 birthday party for director Brett Ratner. A Hudson pal assures, "She is exploring everything while trying to get over Owen." Of course no one has confirmed anything, but we don't expect that to happen since it's not like Kate and Owen were all that public with their scandalous affair anyway.

The O.C. Cancelled
It's the fourth season of The O.C. and inches to its demise, after US TV channel FOX said today the struggling series will end next month. "This feels like the best time to bring the show to its close," said Josh Schwartz, the show's creator and executive producer. He added: "Thanks to the hard work of our cast, crew and writers, we have enjoyed our best season yet, and what better time to go out than creatively on top. It has been an amazing experience and a great run. For a certain audience, at a certain time, The O.C. has meant something. For that we are grateful."
Producers said, starting today, the series will begin a stream of new episodes culminating in the series finale on February 22. The O.C. debuted in the US in August, 2003 and is shown almost concurrently in Australia on the Ten Network and repeated on pay TV. It was billed as a "lighthearted comedy mixed with teen angst" at the start, moving into darker plotlines, which saw the death of its star character Marissa Cooper, played by Mischa Barton, last season. More recently, the real life romance between on-screen lovers Seth (Adam Brody) and Summer (Rachel Bilson) ended, which would have made for awkward moments on the set.
The show followed a group of friends and families whose lives were changed by the arrival of an outsider - Ryan Atwood (played by Benjamin McKenzie) - to their beach community in Orange County, California. Other regular cast members included Peter Gallagher, Tate Donovan, Kelly Rowan, Autumn Reeser and Willa Holland. Australian actor actor Alan Dale played Caleb Nichol for 36 episodes of the series. Among the guest stars were Jeri Ryan, Kevin Sorbo and Kim Delaney. So what now for the cast? Maybe Benjamin McKenzie can focus on Hollywood roles playing Russell Crowe's son? Meanwhile, Adam Brody can begin work on a John Mayer biopic, perhaps?

Justin Timberlake has reportedly ended his relationship with Cameron Diaz. The SexyBack singer, who is nine years younger than the 34-year-old Charlie's Angels actress, has allegedly been telling friends that the couple's three and a half year relationship is over. According to America's Star magazine, Justin told friends while he was partying at Memphis nightclub Senses during the Christmas holidays: "Me and Cameron? We're done."
It had been thought the couple would spend Christmas together but while Justin spent it with his family in Memphis, Cameron was seen alone at Colorado ski resort Vail Mountain. While in his hometown, the pop heartthrob was seen on several occasions in the company of a former high school sweetheart of his 25 year old blonde real estate agent Veronica Finn. Finn was once in a girl band, Innosense, with another ex of Justin's, Britney Spears.
The singer then spent New Year's Eve at actress Kate Hudson's house party, which was held at her Los Angeles home. Justin and Cameron were, however, seen together in Los Angeles a few days after Christmas but told reporters they "do not comment on their personal lives." Hollywood gossip columnist Janet Charlton reports that Justin now has his eye on actress Scarlett Johansson. Charlton claims a source at a Los Angeles New Year's Eve party told her: "Justin and Cameron broke up almost two weeks ago. I reckon he'll hook up with Scarlett Johansson. They've been getting to know each other." Before she met Timberlake, Diaz had a four-year relationship with actor singer Jared Leto.

Britney Spears Collapses On New Year's
Britney Spears collapsed within less than one hour of the New Year at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas where she was hosting, reports Vegas Pop. Mystery now surrounds Britney's collapse early this morning. She had been seated on a VIP tented-cabana bed overlooking the dance floor at 12:50AM talking with one of her male dancers. She intimated she wanted to leave and as she stood up, "she went into a dead faint and just fell right to the floor."
Her group pulled her up and lay her on the bed at the same time as her personal security asked for the club to provide at least 10 other security managers to "get her out as quickly as possible." They surrounded the stricken pop star in an attempt to screen her from all observers and the new years revelers on the crowded dance floor. One woman in the Spears' entourage yelled, "Make sure nobody gets any photos. No photos anywhere."
When the 12-strong security phalanx was in place, two of her dancers wrapped Britney in what appeared to be a blanket-hooded poncho. Literally carrying her in both arms, they managed to propell her through the crowds and out of the club. It appeared as if "she was being dragged as she wasn't walking under her own speed" said one eyewitness. "It looked as if they wanted to get her up to her hotel room as soon as possible." At 2AM this morning, an ambulance was summoned to the hotel but it was totally unclear if it was brought to Caesars for Britney.
